Like the playing he did on the award show with Ella on Choosin Texas. Who was that?

I'm assuming that you're asking about Ella Langley performing "Choosing Texas" at the CMA Awards.

Unfortunately I don't recognize the steel player, but he's featured prominently.

After seeing her on the CMA awards, I have become a very huge fan. This is my new current favorite song. Alex did a great job. He got the same awesome feel that was on the record. From I have found, Spencer Cullum played on the record.

Alex is a pilot also. He and our drummer fly their planes around the skies of middle Tennessee and thereabouts.

Hey all - Yep that was me - what a great time and thanks for the kind words! That song is a blast to play live, especially riding on the coattails of the great work Spencer did in the studio.

And yes Tim! I actually just saw Steve the last couple days at the airport. We finally got a break in the weather to get in the sky for a little bit.

Alex, Must be cool working with Ella, she seems really down to earth and easy on the eyes.

There is a good interview with Tracy Lawrence on his how, it's really good, I could just listen to her talk all day, what a great singing and speaking voice she has.
Regards, Craig

Dang. The 80’s are really back in Country if that song is any indication!
