You may have heard Mike Sweeney is having some heart issues and will not be able to make it. Please say a prayer for Mike’s speedy recovery and we will announce another player soon.
We hope to see everyone Feb. 5th! You can’t beat the price of this show. It’s free but donations will be appreciated. We can also use some help with setup, tear down, stage crews if you are so inclined.
Leon, due to Mike’s health issues, he is unable to attend. Mike had a pacemaker installed and is doing great, but needs some down time to recuperate. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. In Mike’s absence, Randy Beavers will be doing an encore performance. Randy played our last show, and we had tons of requests to have him back. We didn’t expect it to be this soon, but so glad his schedule allows him to do it. If you’ve ever heard Randy, you know why he’s favorite. If you’ve not heard him, you’re about to have another favorite!
Thanks Roger ,it will be a great show . I do know Randy and he will put on a good show. we're gonna try to come over for the show, hope to see you Sunday. Leon.
Don’t sell yourself short, Mike! It’s always a pleasure to have you with us, and you will indeed be invited back. Looking forward to seeing you down the road.
Mike, glad you are feeling better, just keep playing that steel guitar which is good for the soul. I see you got some events scheduled, Good for you, Take care, Shorty
Thanks to all who came out yesterday. We had about 85 people attend and some really fine music.. And a special thanks to the fine players who traveled from Nashville, Charlotte, Alabama, Mississippi, and South Georgia!
Thanks to some special donations our bank account is strong enough to continue. We are planning the next one September 10th. We could use some volunteers for stage crew, cleanup and tear down.
So nice to see Bill Ferguson, as well as our moderator, Miss Donna Dodd, good to hear some fine picking’ and there was plenty of it!
Keep ‘em going, hope to return in September, very enjoyable
If it's a penny for your thoughts!!!

Just curious, Mike - Did the surgeon assure you that you would play SOLITAIRE in Dallas? You play it GREAT!
We did miss you, Mike! Randy sang your praises on stage (as did others) and requested prayers for your recovery and continued healing!

I think he did mention something about playing Solitaire in Dallas having a positive effect on my well-being.
I appreciate the prayers and kind words. Randy is like family to Teresa and I. So are you Miss Donna.
I'm looking forward to the show September 10th. And we'll see you in Dallas.
