Sho-Bud Amp Info/Value

Post by Amanda Jackson »

I have 2 Sho-Bud Amps that I'd like a little information on and what they would be valued at. Both appear to be in really good condition w/ all switches on the top intact. Both have Sho-Bud covers. The D-15 has casters on it.

These were my father in laws and he passed away so I don't have any info on these items.

1)
D-15
Model 7838
Serial No. 01011

2)
Twin
Model 7832
Serial No. 1001
*This one has a sticker on it with Johnny Thomas and the Texas Rangers...not quite sure what that's about

Would the twin be more or about the same?

Probably the same, but the single JBL D-130 15" is more popular with steel players.

Do you have the knobs that are broken off the sliders? I suspect replacement slider potentiometers can be found/substituted, but matching knobs I'm not sure.

Gonna bring this post back to ask if anyone knows what type of speakers are in the 2x12? They're definitely not JBLs.

I found one on Marketplace for a great deal and I just want to know more before picking it up since it's a bit of a haul.
