I will just add that anyone who has had the opportunity to study Frank Carter's solution for the Infinity (I studied his displayed changer-model well in Dallas some years ago), will have noticed that the "roller at contact point against the finger", combined with just the right angles where those moving parts meet, in practice all but eliminates any friction, wear and hysteresis there.

I think Frank's solution is mechanically about as good as they come for bridge-mounted All-Pull changers. Hope other builders will follow in the same tracks, if they haven't already.
